Day 2 of Joanne's Hen Do

Nice leisurely get up followed by cooked breakfast in the hotel including some haggis!! Had a walk down the road in shops and have got my fancy dress for Lourdes. Went to the real Mary King's Close. It was excellent a tour of the old streets of Edinburgh under the chambers building that date back to the 1600s. Then to the pub and a lovely hot toddy. A walk down the steepest street to the Balmoral hotel and afternoon tea which was amazing. Pumpkin soup followed by the array of cakes etc, followed by macaroons and marshmallows then as we were leaving the waitress speared with tiny lemon sorbet ice creams. We even had a doggy box!!! Us Oldies left first to get back to the hotel for a rest before the evening/nights activity . Having a great time sorry I can't comment or reply as on my phone it's really hard. But thanks for stars and comments. I am feeling better.
