On the tourist trail

This is the Kit Rock, a popular stopping off place for tourists on their travels around Skye. It is called the Kilt Rock because of its vertical Basalt columns which look like the pleats in a kilt.

The cliffs are 200ft high but it is well fenced, although even getting close to the fence to get this blip had my stomach doing somersaults!
