Pots, pots and pots

This is a ceramic installation in the Centre of Ceramic Art in York Art Gallery. It consists of 10,000 slip cast bowls. The ceramic artist is Clare Twomey. I was trying out slip casting on Thursday - a bowl and a plate - and my teacher told me about this installation, hence my visit to the Art Gallery. The CoCA is a wonderful place for inspiration for my new hobby but well worth a visit by anybody.
