The Mystery of Gilmerton Cove

We went to Gilmerton Cove today for a tour of an underground dwelling that continues to be a mystery.  George Patterson claimed to have built it alone over a 5 year period, but archaeologists dispute this as they feel it could not have been made by one man and they believe it predates him.  There are lots of theories and rumors of connections to underground/ secret societies.  There are also those who believe it maybe haunted.

Due to the mysterious history of this place, I decided to take some long exposure shots with my husband walking through to get a ghostly efffect.  I got some interesting images (see extra photos)
