Resting

A morning walk on the heath brought glimpses of sunshine and Spring bird song, and the discovery of a new circuit. After lunch we went down to Emsworth to see the sea. It was very windy but so invigorating to smell the sea air and get nearly blown off our feet. One of the houses there, which has a garden stretching down to the foreshore, had this weathered but rather lovely looking pair of chairs perched at the end of the garden - a peaceful spot for reflection on a calmer day. We passed by Andy's mum for a warming cup of tea before returning home. Beef stew and jacket potatoes are in the oven!
