Birds on the runway

Apologies for the hiatus in blipping. The weather has been moderate to say the least and going outside has now appeared to be a good option. I was meant to be on Barra on Tuesday to teach but the ferries were cancelled but I got across today.
After the day at school - some poor class ended up with three maths lessons - I escaped to the north of Barra to Cockleshell Bay which serves as their airport, when the tide is out. This Brent Goose was happy enough there with eight others sampling the local seaweed.
