Republican

After yesterday's lecture and dinner, which was more orientated towards "the establishment", today's political activity incorporated involvement in a couple of EU-related panels at the Radical Independence Conference. This (to me, a republican) comforting sight greeted those arriving at the conference.

Apart from that, a quiet day. I picked up my new glasses in the morning - and they work much better as varifocals than their predecessors did - and then we had a snack at the Hideout before I cycled into town. Since I got back we've been chilling (sogging?) in front of the TV. A much needed quiet night in for me.
