Five years on I have some understanding that I must live my life and embrace the disasters, sorrows and joys that are going to happen in this  life of mine.
I am thankful that my family living in Christchurch were not harmed.  On each visit back I see more examples of the  emergence of a new Christchurch.
After watching some news stories about Christchurch this evening I made a little tower of stones to be the image to go with my thoughts . . .an act of remembrance.
