First Airbnb Guest in Barcelona

This was taken as we were all ready and waiting to welcome our first Airbnb guest into our home here. We've decided to give this a go here, having good experiences with it in Rio and Edinburgh. Of course, this is a bit different as it's our home here in Barcelona and although it's only the guest room we rent out, guests are free to use the living spaces respectfully too. We think it's a big enough house to be able to find a quiet place to sit and in a city like Barcelona most guests will help themselves to the breakfast goodies on offer and spend time out and about in the city. We both support the Airbnb ethos of living like a local and are also interested in the idea of collaborative consumption. Sweating our current assets makes sense.

M arrived on schedule.....but his bag was off elsewhere - luckily we had made up a toilet bag with the basics, just in case. He seems very nice, a 54yr old German radio journalist here for the big 4 day mobile fair. He got settled in, had a welcome drink and then we took him on a wee walk round our barrio introducing him to our local places. He then went off out to dinner in one. So far so good!
