View from Auchenibert, Killearn
Gill and I went for a circular walk in the village of Killearn this morning, up to what I presume was once the Ibert estate, since we passed Ibert Farm, Ibert House and Auchenibert.
Auchenibert is a Category A Listed Building which was designed initially by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, but taken over by another architect before completion. It sits quite high above the village and has magnificent views over to Loch Lomond, Conic Hill and the Arrochar Alps in the distance,
As you can see, the sky was full of clouds, but it stayed dry. Coffees and scones in Balfron finished off the morning perfectly.
