Tune Yards

1. I give in and buy a new brolly. I don't like to - I tend to deposit and withdraw from the national umbrella bank of trains, buses, pubs, theatre etc. But the cupboard is bare and I resort to purchasing a big doozy. It instantly makes life better, like being in a dome.

2. I meet mum for lunch at Vidal's and then pop upstairs to Fifi and Ally for a lovely lunch, including these two belters of brownies.

3. I take leftovers back to the office. They make the long afternoon a little better.

4. Mid way through the afternoon, Gildo asks if I want to go to gig. Aye. I do.

5. So I find myself in Oran Mor with Gilly and her pals for a the Tuneyards.It was brilliant.
