Interesting prog on Radio 4 'the spoken image' 1.30. You'll find it on iPlayer. Ex guardian photographer Eamonn McCabe discusses the images that have inspired and moved him. I liked that it's the emotional impact he goes for. Looking at the images discussed on iPlayer I found a hoard of BBC prog on photography. Worth a trawl.
