A load of rubbish.

A walk down the canal to Stratford today with CP, a bite to eat at Carluccio's and then the 15:28 train back to Wilmcote where we had left our car parked. You'd think that nothing could spoil the plot, but this sign certainly does that for me.
Why do we now have "upon" in the town's name, "on" was good enough for William so why do the powers that be have to stuff this unnecessary change  down our necks.
