Rest Room

Normally the kind of euphemism I'd avoid, but I like this way the image above displaces it, blows away those disinfected walls.

We were joined on Saturday by P's son, and we drove to Leenane, part of the west's lake country. Very Paul Henry (minus the white cottages): roads streaming off into bald mountainous gaps, sinuous distant waterfalls like strands of web caught on the worn green baize, and clouds, a whole lowering ceiling of them. While the others trekked up to see, and swim in, one of those waterfalls, I contented myself with a wee run along the lake shore.
