Procesionaria del pino

The unseasonably warm weather this Winter has hastened the appearance of the processionary caterpillars. These were spotted today on a hastily-abandoned dog walk - if Buster had stepped on one, or more likely, picked one up in his mouth, the result on such a small animal could have proved fatal.
