Jane and I decided to go for a walk over the road from the residential home where Jane's Dad is staying.   There was a footpath sign across the field but we didn't know where it went.

The answer was that it went to the local sewage works so this tree was the most interesting thing we saw.

To be honest,  the sewage works are actually quite interesting.  It's an experimental site where they try out new methods of processing the Redditch outflow.

Some years ago they had an open day and I took the children for an 'educational' visit.  It was interesting but I didn't let them have an ice cream from the van that was downwind from a spraying fountain of sewage.
