Brave or daft

It was wet and cold. It rained (hard) on and off all day. But in a break in the rain Carys decided she wanted to swim in the sea! There were only five visible people on the beach other than us and the Life guard was hidden in his hut. Carys was definitely the only person in the sea. She stayed in quite a while, only coming out when she was spooked by something floating in the sea beside her.
