Cardinal

Female Cardinal. We are getting lots at the feeders these days. Today has been .cooler but still sunny. More like normal temperatures?

Many people mentioned my reference to snakes. Those building sites are wooded and in order to build, will have to be cleared. We only have one venomous snake, the copperhead. Occasionally you hear reports of a rattler, but they are not common. All other snakes are harmless. You learn to lift rocks only with care, to look where you are putting your feet. Snakes only strike if they are startled or you step on them. They won't chase you!!!
