Rafa came home from a day with the family laden with fruit and vegetables - this box of plums looks particularly appealing.

The family have a lovely summer house in the chestnut forests of Cartajima, near Ronda.

The huge mountain ranges deliver plentiful water even now in the heat and dryness of summer. They have a 'Huerta' with fruit trees and vegetables - bit like a British allotment - all naturally irrigated with water that once bottled is surprisingly pricey in the supermarket :-)
