Donating

A sort of New Years resolution for me - I've never given blood and feel I should. So the blood collectors were at the high school today and I popped along after work.
I filled in my forms but failed the interview. Because I've been to a few malaria countries they needed to test my blood before accepting. So they took a few tubes full and sent me on my way ( I still got tea and biscuits). Hopefully I will get the all clear and I can return to give my full quota.
