Salty sea dogs
We set out for a few hours sailing on Tigger with a reef alredy in. We were ripping through the swell when there was a loud crack. Back home then! A bolt had gone at the stern and needed repair. Never mind, life is always more intresting out on a boat, even if you're just sitting on a mooring having a picnic. We were joined by Alix from the Ukraine, who dived off his impressive trimaran to tell us its fascinating history. He had bought it from a Russian trawler crew who had salvaged it after it had been floating wrecked in the middle of the Atlantic. Think she was called Gulfstream, based in Odessa.
Little Agu had a great time learning to row around us, looking very Mediterranean in his altogether! It was felt a little unfair if I blipped him.
Other sitings included Lou scooting about in her motorboat and a big dog swimming infront of his Skipper to get provisions.
I am just about to shower the salt off before dinner. Happy day! Thanks Captain Haddock. I hope the repair is not too expensive.
