All was quiet in the church.

The pregnant hush gave way to the Minister's sacred declaration. Heads were bowed in earnest contemplation - including mine. But in that moment, my photographer's eye lost the point of the minister's message and was transfixed instead, by the devilish point of these once-in-a-lifetime shoes.

I didn't quite catch the end of the Minister's prayer.
