Mono Monday - Ancestors

Some might think my entry is rather flippant...but I would be very happy to have these cheerful fellows as my Ancestors.
Gordon (the Gorilla) was a Valentine present from my husband many years ago (he has a red velvet heart on the sole of his foot) and he was from that well known gorilla reserve called 'Woolworths'.  Marvin, the youngster was a prop on a 'creative thinking' training course my husband attended once...not quite sure why, but glad he was able to bring him home to keep Gordon company.
They both sit at the end of the bed and make me smile whenever I look at them.
