Scouting for a location

Sue and I went away for the weekend and stopped on the way to scout a location in the Columbia Gorge for an event in June. I have mentioned before the dangerous pollution of the Columbia River. In June the Peace Boat operated by Veterans for Peace is coming to Portland, and I’m part of a group of people planning to celebrate its arrival and raise people's awareness of the pollution of the Columbia River. We think we have found a great spot for a public meditation and rally. It even has a platform we can use for speakers (see Extra) and the location is stunning.
