Red tape

We spent a lot of today in gov offices trying to renew our visas. This involved blood tests and getting our marriage certificate translated (a new rule they've made up!). Poor J gets the worst of it having to go from one office to another, using up so much precious time getting so many slips of papers for different people to sign. Every year the wild goose chase changes just to keep us on our toes.
