I should probably have saved this for a 'derelict Sunday' or whatever but I wasn't inspired by this week's Mono Monday theme of 'ancestors' so just went to find something which might be interesting in mono.
The sun was out, in fact a lovely, crisp morning, but the sun was on the wrong side of the building. By the time it would have been where I wanted it the clouds had come and there was no sun. So I'll save the picture I really went for until another day.
