Pretty Purple

The sun managed to come out a little today, after the unending gloom of yesterday. (During which I resided in my bed watching "The Sound of Music"). 

I snapped the bougainvillea in the conservatory just starting to flower. I went to my house and did a few jobs today. It's warm. I shouldn't say that, I'll jinx it ;-) 

It was nice and breezy and I enjoyed the walk there and back. I relaxed in bed at home around 5pm, with tea and some fruit. I applied for an interesting job at Save the Children. There's not a hope in hell I'll get it, but it's worth a shot. "If you do what you always do, you'll get what you always get". I think there's some truth in that.
