Pulling a turn-of-the-century beer wagon,
Their white feathered legs move in unison.

Do I feel the Earth jiggle beneath my feet?
Or is it my heart racing?

The Hitch
Eight male geldings. 
Each weighing over 2,000 lbs.
Standing an incredible 72” at the shoulder.

The Driver 
Controls 12 tons of horse and wagon.
Holds 40lbs of line in his hands.
Not for the faint of heart

I’ve cried over Bud’s Super Bowl Commercials.
Laughed at the wobbly legs of a newborn Clyde.
But to see one in Real-life.

It just reminds me of the wonders in this life.
