Incoming Geese

 
A walk today in the wetlands gave us the chance to watch a huge flock of Canada geese fly over us and settle in a nearby field.
As we walked over to view the geese several smaller flocks joined the ones already on the ground.
I estimate over 1000 birds were in the group.
After we walked quite a distance from the flock the whole group rose up at one time darkening the sky.

Quite a spectacle to see.
