Te Rewa Rewa Bridge

First up I must thank you all so sincerely for the lovely comments, stars and hearts over the last couple of days - quite overwhelming.

This morning we took to the bikes, along the promenade and beyond - some 26km.  It was such a super warm morning, the ocean was a wonderful colour, a real credit to the local council to build this, a gem for walkers and bikers.  This bridge is an absolute work of art, with Mt Taranaki showing at the end of the bridge - built strategically

We enjoyed a lovely lunch overlooking the sea, a cafe/restaurant called Salt, rather apt I thought.

Back to the motel for a while then we went into Pukekura Park again - a truly awesome place.

We head back to Wellington tomorrow then home to Timaru on Thursday - we have enjoyed our New Plymouth experience.
