The Strandbeest Awakes

Well, I did it. It took me about 3 hours to put it all together, but I got there in the end. Some bits were easier than others - arthritis in my hands meant that I struggled with some of the fiddly bits like securing the legs to the crankshaft. But I got there AND it works.
This is, of course, a mini 'Strandbeest'. The original was invented by Theo Jansen and is powered by nothing but wind power. I think it looks like a giant insect as the wind moves it's many legs.
