A Rishton postcard.

We are blessed with a wonderfully blue skied sunny Tuesday.
The Spring bulbs are looking good in the local gardens, but I had not photographed the canal for a while, so I went to see the view from the High Street bridge Two beautiful swans were cleaning their feathers in the warm sunshine, and a tri colour cat strolled along the tow path.
I met one or two Rishtoners.
It is a close knit community where you get to know what friendliness means.
I bought a pretty Mothers' Day card for Mum, and some wool.
We need more lovely days like this.
