It's raining again. And as I walked home past the lake I was thinking about how nice it is to have Briony home. I get home after a day at work to a house that's usually tidier than I left it, and frequently dinner is cooking :-) Today, I'm cold and wet, and the thought of getting home to such a welcome is lovely.
