Blueprint

Reviewing archive material today came across original 'Blueprints' for engineering works.

This one, for work on a water-mill, is dated 1943

Before computers and photocopiers this was the process used to reproduce technical drawings.

The blueprint process used white lines on a blue background, a negative in photographic terms.
