Placing the stones

The last culture talk ended with an invited external speaker, Tibi, who's a member of local Go (Wei qi) Association, to help with the workshop. He's more experienced than I am in terms of participating competitions. I haven't played either wei qi (go) or xiang qi (Chinese chess) for years, gosh!

In my preparation for the workshop last night, I was determined to play 3 online xiang qi games against a professional website. It was a 2:1 win - with some cheat (retract ;-)), I'm afraid.

Tomorrow is for two half-day training sessions - good in that I can be away from my desk; bad in that I still need to do my work while losing a day!
