Behind Houndtor

I never seem to get past Houndtor when I'm up that way but I've always meant to get beyond to the abandoned medieval village. Although I walked on and down, I didn't get there today either because this remarkable group of rocks drew my attention. I liked this image from up on them, looking back at Houndtor Rocks. It's been a gorgeous day so I left it until late before going out. I thought I might get a sunset shot but I ran out of battery and the spare was still in the charger at home. This little Olympus gets through its batteries, probably because of the electronic viewfinder. I probably need a second spare, I suppose.
