I got up at six to cut flowers for the CSA shares, to be delivered later this afternoon. Above were only halve of the lilies I wanted to cut, but I ran out of water. Later I found out our well pump motor burned out, cutting off our precious resource. We quickly found ourselves in camp mode.

What a day. We delivered our 28 bouquets without a problem. I delivered them to the various pick up points. Then worked feverishly to complete some architectural drawings for a client. Picked up kids from day camp. Watched my sweetheart play tennis. Dinner out. Carted the family to neighbor's house for greatly needed showers. Home to collapse into bed. Dreampt of flowers without water.
