Clovenfords

Blip taken en route home today. The light was very conducive to taking photos so I couldn't resist taking a slight detour up into the hills surrounding Clovenfords.
I was lucky enough today to catch sight of a book by photographer Ian Lawson who has created a series of images for a book called From the Land Comes the Cloth: Harris Tweed. The book has some stunning images of the island and is a sheer joy to browse through. He spent the best part of 10 years I believe taking these exquisite images with his Hassleblad. Our library has a copy and I was lucky enough to be able to leaf through it. The book to buy is a pretty hefty £180 on Amazon. My birthday is coming up however.....
