FERAL FLYING THINGS!

Sometimes you see cyclists with funny spikes, like drinking straws, poking out all over their helmets.  Then you know it's nesting season - for the local birds, not the cyclist!  Often your local friendly magpie, whom you feed every afternoon, might turn feral and swoop on you trying to attack your eyes. Walkers and cyclists have been known to paint eyes on the back of their caps to trick the swooping bird!
