The end of an era?
When Swannie went to work yesterday, little did she and her colleagues know that by the end of the day, the company that they work for would no longer be owned by Richard and Linda Perryman. The company started as a taxi service in 1974 and has since grown to a fleet of 45 buses and coaches based in Berwick and St Boswells. The owners have decided to retire and have sold the company to West Coast Motors based in Campbelltown.
It was business as usual today though, and this is Swannie's bus for the school run this afternoon. I think it is a very smart wee bus and it has lovely shiny wheels. Lots of love JJ. xx
PS We all got a row tonight when Swannie got back from her late shift as we had managed to open, empty and eat a tub of Whiskas Temptations that had been left on the kitchen worktop. It's not our fault, though, the clue is in the name, we was tempted!
