Captain Beaky and his band

I've been fussy cutting, making and stitching together, hexagons picturing chickens and roosters this afternoon...well, I have 5 beautiful grandsons and roses don't seem quite the thing... and they reminded me of years ago when we spent long car rides listening to Keith Michel singing "Captain Beaky" , Harry Secombe singing "Herbert the Hedgehog" and Twiggy  relating the tale of " Nathaniel Gnat". Still my favourites, I sought them out and bought them for my grandsons to enjoy!
