We arrived in Amsterdam this morning after a much better sleep thanks to the decision to pay a little extra for a couchette instead of just seats, definitely worth it!
After dropping our stuff at the hostel we headed off for a wander around the city. We decided to go to Anne Frank's house after some coffee, I've been before but it was just as sad the second time around...maybe because I understood it more this time. This is one of the quotes from her father printed on a wall in the museum.
We then had a general stroll around and some dinner at an awesome Indonesian restaurant. An early night tonight as tomorrow is Friday and Saturday is Eilidh's 19th birthday so we're planning for a couple of late nights!
