Mountains, glaciers, marmotts and the Mattahorn...

Such a brilliant day! We started early and headed up Tasch Alp which is absolutely stunning and has really interesting geology! The cloud then cleared so we could see great veiws of the iconic Mattahorn.

In the afternoon we then got the train up to the Mattahorn where we saw this (and others) amazing glacier! I have never seen one before so i got very excited! It was so beautiful up there, i have never seen anything like it...i neally cried :P ha!

Fantastic fun! And i have to do this for my degree...hard times heh?!
