Venice

Everyone knows the stat, Birmingham has more miles of canal than Venice. Really? Yup, true fact.
Most enjoyable run along just a few of those miles ... junctions, spurs, canal side eateries, superb urban design as the canal path remains despite development and new construction - it passes under a number of buildings but you can still walk its banks.

I was in canal heaven.
