A day in the ski tracks

Minus 5 degrees C when I started on my skis this morning. A lovely sunny day in the woods. My rucksack loaded with my thermos filled  with hot currant toddy, an orange and my lunch pack. The kiosk on the extra is about 6 kilometers away from the car park. Its a place where families with smaller children go. The kiosk is, however, open on Saturdays and Sundays only. Still some families there today when I passed the place. A long day out. I believe I will be stiff tomorrow.
