Stanbrook Abbey

Visiting the start area for the JK today and clearing yet more brambles.

Stanbrook Abbey is a relatively new sustainable building, incorporating the latest green technology, built by Benedictine nuns who wished to leave their 180 year old home in Worcester. It is built on the side of Wass bank with wonderful views.

What amazed me was they bought the land before they obtained planning permission and before they ad sold their previous home.
