The Pilot Disembarks

We revisited Montevideo, Uruguay today, on our way back out of the Rio de la Plata to the Atlantic Ocean.  Because we had just been here five days ago, we decided just to have a lazy day aboard ship.  It was so empty of passengers, it felt like we were on our own private yacht.

This is a shot of the pilot who helped navigate Mariner out to the main shipping channel in the Rio de la Plata as he stepped off our vessel back onto the Pilot boat.  It always amazes me to see these guys calmly traversing between our big boat and their little one.  Their sense of balance and timing is amazing!
