Out with the old and in with the New!

Terry has been very busy for the past week or so, designing and building a new floating dock for the pond.
Today we trucked it down to the pond, dropped it into the pond, and here he is, placing the boards on top! It's going to be lovely, but i have to say, i will miss the old dock! It has been my little anchor when i've been away, or at different times of this new life here at Big Hill. I don't want him to tear it down, i've even suggested it be given 'heritage' status, it is after all, quite old, and has significant meaning!!! It will be a sad day when he does tear it down. I'm hoping he'll get too busy and it will be left there indefinitely!

Another stunning day here, bright, breezy and hot! working in the studio with the doors open gives me such a lovely breeze thro the place, and also allows me to view the green and lush garden outside! How i appreciate it all! Made some dinner plates for a couple of orders, and now it's time to prepare dinner.

the mint is growing with such zest in the garden, i just have to make mojitos!!!

ps later this evening...after only 2 mojitos...i'm listening to this amazing due The Civil Wars...what a treat to watch a video that stays still. and their voices are so lovely!
