Tequila

I have been attempting to make friends with Tequila (shown here) ever since we arrived in Patzcuaro. Our other two animals warmed up to us immediately, but Tequila has been avoiding me since we arrived. I love cats and I took her avoidance of me as a personal challenge. After a week of effort, last night was the breakthrough. She jumped up on the couch as Shelley and I were watching television and spent the entire evening happily curled up next to me. We will see if that behavior carries over to this evening or if she goes back to her usual standoffishness.
