Custom House, Custom Street, Auckland

According to the NZ Historic Place Trust, the Custom House is French Renaissance in style, and bears strong resemblance to the  Marshall and Snelgrove building in Oxford Street, London, which must have influenced the architect, Thomas Mahoney, when on a trip to Britain in the 1880s.
